An elegant dissertation |
Anyone who was a regular reader of CAR magazine from 1966 until a year or two ago will need no introduction to the erudition, wit, and idiosyncratic style of LJKS. Which is now to be found in various newspapers. Look up a few of his articles on the internet and youll see what I mean.If you want to know the true meaning of the motor car, read this. On the way you will learn about the cars relationship to the French and American revolutions and discover that almost everything you thought you knew is wrong. I discovered that my school motto is a quote from Virgils Aeneid - cf Chapter 3. This is a serious and highly readable work well worth the investment.

best book ive ever bought |

This book explains in detail (and plain english) everthing you need to know to build your own sports car. I had very little experience with cars and knew very little about them mechanically, but i now have an almost a completed car. The most difficult thing about doing this was obtaining a donor car (hard to find these in Ireland). YOU CAN DO IT TOO.

250.00 POUNDS! IT CANT BE DONE!! |
Having read the book front to back i can honestly say that its full of alot of very good and helpfull info,But having built a Locost to race i can say without doubt that its near enough impossible to build this car for 250.00 unless of course youve got 5 or 6 shetts of ally in your garage? and loads of other bits and bobs he says he found at scrap yards. Good book but the 250.00 price tag is just a little bit keen.
